Update for Oct!
jkxx has been a great help and the diggies, especially Sabi, totally love him! ^^ Thanks to him, I've also been buying a greater variety of fresh foods for them, like asparagus and oranges, and I've gotten foods like more dandelion greens, more red swiss chard, more cilantro, that at the store alone I wouldn't know whether they were ok to feed or not and would be too scared to buy. jkxx knows so much more than me about what's normal or harmless and how produce is supposed to look, and what's harmful and shouldn't be bought and fed.
He took two videos of them last night! His camera doesn't take as high quality videos as the one Anti and I have, but it's good enough to clearly show the diggies' cuteness ;) Here's the first and the second :D
Delta said Anti and I couldn't sit in the same row if we do, but we could bring all 3 diggies on the same flight. We just have to bring one carryon each. It should be ok with Kona and Kula in one with me, and Sabi in the other with Anti, something like that. I hope they stay comfortable and healthy enough through the flight.
Also, I worry that in the Erie area, even the vets that do see cavies won't know enough about them :( I will try to check out vets quickly. I'm too much of a wuss to ask them for a free guided tour and interview haha but I will bring them in for a physical and ask a few basic questions and observe the surroundings and vet/staff attitudes. That's basically what I've been doing here, too.
Oh and I bought a 9 pound box of Oxbow timothy at For Other Living Things as, much to the diggies' delight, jkxx gave them loose hay to play in and the KM's hay we ordered ran out. After we move we'll order more KM's ^^
And I almost forgot to add, 26th is their appointment for getting health certificates.
