Peace
I really like the girls. I can sit and watch them or lay next to the cage and read and they're just so nice they don't demand I GTFO :P Kula likes to sniff my hand but runs away if I move to pet her. Wasabi lets me pet her all over and does something with her teeth when I rub her head--it's not a sharp sound so I don't think she's mad, it seems more of a teeth grinding thing. I hope she's not unhappy.
It's so funny how Kona exits partway out of a pigloo, then turns and moves, dragging the pigloo also ^^ Kula seems to scratch at the inside or something; it's quite loud, and sometimes the pigloo will jump in the direction that she's scratching. But Wasabi is the real winner! I was amazed at how she'll throw her pigloo up in the air! Since they're all so cute, I selfishly enjoy looking at them, so ever since I set up their cage I've been constantly turning the pigloo openings toward me...but they rearrange them better than I do -_- pigs > me!
Sometimes I really want to knock some sense into humans. There were TWO guinea pig books at the library so I checked them both out, as well as browsing through the cavy sections in general pet/rodent books. Some of the stuff is way outdated. 2 square feet for a pig? How would the author like living in a barrel?
Oh I got some organic romaine hearts at TJ's...I hope they enjoy it for dinner! I hate romaine so if they don't eat it, I'll...uh...ask the apartment manager if I can have a spot for composting? :P
