Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee
They've been eating mostly baby romaine and some cilantro, and had a green bell pepper (half at a meal) earlier.
Confession is good for the soul, right?
They had no floor time yesterday. I somehow have to wash the towels today, or else go back to newspaper until I figure out how to wash them. I want my own washing machine dammit.
Earlier this week I was really freaked out because their water bottle was empty when I checked. Since then they've usually had two bottles, checked more frequently.
I misjudged how many pellets were left in the bag. So starting this morning they're getting about half their usual ration, with hay cubes in the bowl instead of the rest. I should probably give them three kinds of hay to make up for it...
When I was cleaning on Saturday, I realized the Coroplast was scratched. The scratches are difficult to clean. I put in more CareFresh than usual. If that doesn't do it, I'll line the bottom with newspaper again.
Confession makes me think about all my screwups again and makes me feel bad. But hey, I deserve it.
In other news, when I was moving Kona back to her cage after cleaning the piggy room (they were in our bedroom, in a 2 x 4 grid over towels), she nibbled along my finger. Barely hurt, but when she got to the inside of my joint, she broke the skin. Ouch haha. Healed up fine though. She's adorable :D
Past few days I've been feeling kind of weird. Ahh maybe because I forgot the Paxil on Friday and Saturday? When I realized yesterday, I did think it was odd that I hadn't been nauseous or had any other typical discontinuation symptoms. I thought maybe it just had no effect. I didn't think of my vague weirdness though. Not exactly detachment, but...kind of slow, and forgetful, a bit, but mostly...feeling like I don't know what's going on. Forgetting what I'm supposed to do, yes, but when I do remember, it's kind of like I can think of the words to describe it and kind of know what they mean, but the significance slips past me. And rather tired, especially yesterday. Med-related or not, it has been bad when it comes to my responsibilities. Eek I'd hate to be under my care.
I'm sorry, girls :( Never should have happened, and never will again, I will try to make that true...
BTW, other than me not washing them at the end of the week, the towels have been great. In the run, they stay quite clean. The girls will leave some little poops around, but they urinate in the litterboxes or the cage. Their pellets and hay are in the cage, and all the houses are either in the cage or over the boxes, so they mostly spent time on the towels when running around or eating their greens, so not one spot of pee! They don't crinkle when walked on, they're soft, and I like being on them more than I liked being on the newspaper. I can even just lie there comfortably... I guess the piggies like it a lot, too, because when I let them onto the towels, they started being, well, extremely happy. I'd never seen anything close. They were running all around really fast, popcorning (even Wasabi!), it was adorable. After a long while (well, minutes and minutes!), I thought I might never again have this opportunity and I should tape them...but by the time Anti got the camera ready and showed me how to use it, they calmed down quite a bit. Mostly I got them eating. And Anti still hasn't uploaded the video anyway. So blah.
But hey, towels were a good idea :D Babies like towels yay yay :D
I guess I should get going ^^
